Must have valid Maryland Licensure.
Previous hospital pharmacy and anticoagul! ation experience is preferred. Duties involve assessing and monitoring patients on anticoagulation therapy, interpreting physician orders, preparing and dispensing of medications, IV solutions, chemotherapy, and TPNs. Experience with automated clinical systems is preferred. Provide counseling and product information to physicians, nursing staff, and patients.
May direct and supervise the filling of prescriptions and practices of pharmacy technicians.
