Maryland License required
3-5 years experience required
MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center i! s now accepting applications for the Director of Pharmacy position. Duties will include: Oversee the daily operations, medication purchases, storage, inventory preparation and pharmacy quality control processes. Assists in adhering to legal, accreditation and certification requirements and staff needs of the department.
Requirements:
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
a m inimum of 3 years hospital experience (including hospital supervisory experience and clinical experience)
Strong computer and communication skills
Current Maryland Pharmacist license
Experience and a full understanding of the EMR system pertaining to pharmacy
