The Pharmacy Supervisor assists in the operation and administrative direction of the Department of Pharmacy Services. Independent judgment is required to implement, coordinate, and mo! nitor the support functions established to deliver accredited, effective, and efficient daily patient focused pharmacy services. Assures the effective integration of operational, fiscal and clinical resources throughout all areas of the Department in order that the Department achieves the highest level of safe and effective care of patients while meeting the organization’s mission, vision and strategic initiatives. The inventory, distribution/delivery of medications may be required.
Education: B.S. in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited School of Pharmacy . An advanced degree and residency training are preferred but may be waived based upon experience. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Required: Must be licensed in the State of Maryland or eligible for licensure.
Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of hospital pharmacist experience or an advanced degree/residency with two (2) years of hospital pharmacist experience. Previous sup! ervisory experience preferred.
