The Clinical Informatics Analyst (CIA) is responsible for participating in the planning, develop! ment, education, implementation, evaluation, and maintenance, optimization, and support of assigned Clinical Information Systems across the enterprise. The CIA functions as a liaison for additional Clinical Informatics Systems as requested. The CIA participates on the Clinical Informatics Team, establishing teamwork through appropriate deployment and documentation of process, technical, and human resources in collaboration with the Manager of Clinical Informatics and assigned Project Managers. The CIA functions as a clinical leader for assigned application(s) and is accountable for the ongoing optimization of the application(s).
Must have:
Clinical degree/education (Physician, Nurse, Therapist, Pharmacist, Technician, etc.) with 2-3 years of clinical informatics education and/or experience preferred.
Minimum 2 years clinical informatics preferred. Prior experience in healthcare environment (3-5 years). Cerner Millennium Experience a plus.
