Under general supervision, facilitates the safe, effective and economic use of drugs in a fiscally responsible manner. Reviews prescriptions, obtains clarification a! s necessary and regularly consults with medical staff, nursing personnel and others in order to coordinate delivery of high quality pharmaceutical services to Hospital patients. Pharm D from an accredited college or university or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited pharmacy school, college or university with 0-3 years of experience. · Thorough knowledge of current theory and practice of proper pharmacy services.· Knowledge of clinical pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, adverse drug reactions and drug interactions and ability to interpret clinical laboratory data.· Skill in preparing intravenous admixture solutions such as parenteral nutrition formulations and chemotherapeutic agents.· Skill in data analysis and interpretation.· Ability or organize and prioritize the day to day activities to be most efficient when assigned to specific patient care units.· Skill in problem assessment and resolution.· Ability to coordinate the work of others when tasked.· Knowledge of perso! nnel practices such as monitoring attendance, evaluating & imp! roving performance, and handling employee complaints.· Skill in managing teams.· Skill in oral and written communication.· Good critical thinking skills.· Performs other duties as required.
