Job Details:
Description: Under general supervision, records medication orders, dispenses medications and specialty products, oversees support staff, and provides drug information to patients, physicians, nurses, and other team members.
Requirements:
Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field.
Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree. Less than one year experience required.
Standard pharmacy equipment; Basic computer skills; Medication packaging equipment; IV laminar flow hood.
Registered Pharmacist in Marylan! d, Professional membership recommended: AphA, ASHP, MSHP, ASCP! , etc.
Seven on - Seven off schedule. Works 10pm-8am for seven days every other week. Begins on Thursday night and ends the follow Thursday morning. Off 7 days then repeat.
