Job Details:
Under general supervision, records medication orders, dispenses medications and specialty products, oversees support staff, and provides drug information to patients, physicians, nurses, and other team members.
Requirements: Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field; Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree. Registered Pharmacist in Maryland; Professional membership recommended: AphA, ASHP, MSHP, ASCP, etc.; Standard pharmacy equipment; Basic computer skills; Medication packaging equi! pment; IV laminar flow hood. Less than one year of experience.!
