Description: As a Clinical Manager you will plan, organize, control, and supervise the pharmacy’s clinical activities. In particular, you will promote clinically rational drug therapy and sound pharmaceutical care through the development of new (or expansion of existing) pharmacy practice programs, drug therapy policies, and other programs. You will serve as a clinical resource for the provision of pharmaceutical care and clinical pharmacy services at the site level, build effective relationships with other healthcare professionals and departments within the hospital and company, and coordinate all activities related to the Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee and formulary management. Qualifications:
- Pharm.D. required
- Current Maryland pharmacist license in good standing or willing to obtain one
- Minimum two years’ exp! erience as a Clinical Pharmacist or residency in an ASHP accre! dited program in a hospital
- Knowledgeable and proficient in assessing the use and application of new medications and medication technology, including complex equipment and delivery systems
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team of pharmacists and other health care professionals to review, develop, implement and monitor clinical programs, therapeutic initiatives and other drug use policies and practices
