Job Details:
Under general supervision, processes and dispenses medications orders, oversees support staff, and provides drug information to patients, physicians, nurses, and other team members.
Requirements: Seasoned professional knowledge; equivalent to a Master's degree; knowledge in more than one discipline. Three (3) years direct (at bedside) experience in specialty area where knowledge is applied toward pharmacotherapy, resulting in a measurable patient outcome. 1-3 years of experience. Standard pharmacy equipment; Basic computer skills; Medication packaging equipment; IV laminar flow hood. Registered ! Pharmacist in Maryland; Professional membership recommended: A! phA, ASHP, MSHP, ASCP, etc. Demonstrates the ability to follow verbal instructions, as well as the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
