The Informatics Sr. Analyst position will be responsible for managing and executing all data requests for Stars and HEDIS initiatives within Cigna-Heal! thSpring’s Mid-Atlantic/Pennsylvania region. This position will report directly to the Manager, Quality Data Analytics and will support high-impact and highly visible projects within the organization. The position’s primary responsibilities will include the following:

1) Development and execution of back-end queries to provide insight into real time progress

2) Analysis and trending of MAPA HEDIS rates

3) Analysis of Part D data for market pharmacists

4) Analysis of MAPA CAHPS/HOS data

5) Reconciliation of projected vs. actual gaps closed and identify root cause of inconsistencies

Requirements

Required:
1)Bachelor’s Degree

2)1-3 Years of Data Analysis Experience

3)MS Office Skills are required for this role, specifically:

• Excel: 1-3 years experience; pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.
• Word: 1-3 years experience; word processing; sectional form! atting.

Preferred:
1)2-3 Years of Health! care experience

2)Experience with MS Project, MS Visio, SQL

3)Familiarity with CMS Star Ratings and HEDIS

• Must be detail oriented and have superior analytical skills. Must show attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughly understand a business challenge or opportunity.
• Must be able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, and follow up on action items.
• Effectively build relationships with team members, and cross-functional counterparts in order to develop and execute assigned tasks.
• Must be able to use MS Office Suite products to analyze and illustrate data.
• Excellent communication skills â€" verbal and written.
• Team player â€" willing to jump in to assist team members with any task/assignment in order to meet deadlines.
