Pharmacy Technician

Description: Washington Adventist Hospital is looking of Pharmacy Technician right now, this position will be placed in Maryland. Adventist Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking an experienced full-time pharmacy technician to assist the pharmacist with filling physician orders. The order filling includes: IV manufacturing, topical medication compounding, unit dose medication repackaging which includes appropriate labeling, record keeping, medication cart filling, medication delivery to the nursing units, etc.
A busy working atmosphere.
Occasional pressure due to deadline requirements.
Requires judgment that would affect the image of the hospital and/or Pharmacy department.
Moderate physical e! ffort.
Frequently works on a PC involving focused concentr! ation and accuracy.
Ability to hear telephone ringing and to conduct a telephone conversation in a noisy environment.
Must have ability to read labels, files, reports and various memoranda¿s.

Qualifications
EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma.
Must have current and valid Pharmacy Certificate.
Hospital experience desirable.
Proficient in Standard Business PC Applications, such as email and word processing desirable.
Strong customer service skills on the telephone and in face to face contact.
Ability to multi-task in a busy environment.
Work Schedule
The work schedule for this position will rotate days; evenings; and weekends. Benefits
