No medical experience required and we will consider candidates with a RETAIL/CUSTOMER SERVICE BACKGROUND as well as COLLEGE GRADS. Candidates must have
strong job tenure
and at least 3 years of customer service experience.

Position Summary: The Outreach Specialist will work alongside the pharmacist team assisting the pharmacist in making medical recommendations to providers. Duties include faxing recommendations, calling offices to verify that faxes have been received, and following up with providers regarding the acceptance of recommendations.
General Responsibilities:
· Detailed documentation on their communication with the provider's office,
· Updating phone/fax information in the In-House data software
· Checking the indexing system for inbound faxes received from providers
· Interacting with pharmacists and dieticians regarding recommendations from providers.
· Making 50+ outbound calls a day to providers offices from a queue
.
Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
•
High School diploma
or equivalent and up to
3 years experience in customer service
• Medicare claims processing preferred but not required
• strong functional computer knowledge including Microsoft Office and Outlook
• ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision, a high level of accuracy, and strong attention to detail
• must be a team player and have the ability to interact cross functionally within organization
•
must have STRONG JOB TENURE -(no less than 2 years experience with each company)
• ability to maintain confidential information
