A minimum of 2 years previous pharmacy experience, knowledge, experience and meticulous practice in sterile manufacturing required. IV admixture and chemo experience strongly preferred. Ability to execute complex instructions. Must possess the required interest in detailed analysis and have excellent analytical skills. Responsible for identifying problems and alerting the pharmacist of any concerns. Must be able to prioritize work responsibilities and follow through to completion while working minimal. Demonstrated skill in providing good customer service; must be able to communicate effectively with patients, nurses and coworkers. Multilingual a plus.
Pharmacy Technician II
As a pharmacy technician you will assist the pharmacists in the processing of medication orders, inventory control, compounding, distribution functions, and tasks related to the handling and filing medication orders. Technicians participate in and facilitate the full utilization of automated drug distribution. You will u se automated technology to efficiently and safely meet patients' pharmaceutical needs in addition to working in a state-of-the-art IV clean room to prepare intravenous infusions. You will perform job duties under minimal supervision within pharmacy standards and be responsible for the accurate completion of all daily activities/tasks.
