Reporting directly to the Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator, this individual is responsible for coordinating any oncology activities with patient care to maximize the! rapeutic outcomes. Working closely with inpatient and outpatient oncology services, this individual will plan, direct, and coordinate clinical aspects of pharmaceutical services for oncology patients, including MMMC's Infusion Center. This individual will also develop clinical pharmacy standards and develop organizational policies and protocols to ensure quality of medical therapy. In addition, this individual will collaborate with system, hospital and community based physicians and serve as resource for clinical trials. Qualifications include PharmD, MD license as Pharmacist, BCOP or PGY2 Residency in Oncology is strongly preferred. Minimum 4-5 years of clinical oncology pharmacy experience is preferred. This individual must be able to demonstrate collaborative approach, with a strong sense of teamwork and excellent patient experience skills. Must also be able to demonstrate effective judgment.
