The Clinical Pharmacy Specialist is also responsible for efficient and accurate provision of pharmaceuticals, supplies and drug information according to established standards of practices.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and one year of post-graduate experience, preferably in internal medicine or pharmacotherapy. Requires Maryland licensure as a Pharmacist. Two years post-graduate experience in Critical Care preferred. Requires analytical skills to collect information from diverse sources, apply professional principles in performing various analyses, and to summarize the information and data in order to solve problems or design relatively complex systems and programs that cross departmental/divisional lines. Requires the ability to exchange information, maintain patient and employee confidentiality, greet visitors, explain medical center policies and/or relay messages to appropriate personnel.
