MedStar Health Infusion has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join our team full-time to evaluate and clinically manage medications prescribed by physicians for appropriateness of dose, therapeutic efficiency, allergy drug interaction and contraindication for all clients admitted to home care for MedStar Health Infusion,
Requirements
Education:
Ability to read and write English, perform arithmetic calculations and communicate with patients, their relatives, physicians and a variety of Agency personnel at a level normally achieved by obtaining a Bachelors Degree.
Experience:
Minimum of two years pharmacy experience required. One year of infusion homecare preferred.
Cert./Reg./License:
Current Maryland Pharmacy License
Skills:
Prior work experience in home health based pharmacy. Working experience with computer software.
Physical R! equirements:
Visual acuity; manual dexterity and physi! cal mobility; hear and orally communicate. Light physical effort (lift/carry up to 10lbs.) Mostly sedentary work.
