Assists pharmacist(s) in all areas of pharmacy operations, including prescription preparation, sales transactions and customer service. Assumes primary responsibility for inventory maintenance tasks. Qualifications
EDUCATION: High school graduation or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE: 1 year pharmacy technician experience in a retail setting or equivalent training.
LICENSE/CERT/REG: PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) certification. Pharmacy technician licensure or registration as required by the state where the pharmacy is located.
SKILLS: Basic computer skills. Basic math skills. Verbal and written communication skills.
