Prepare demand management plan and procurement plan for the commission

Assist with quarterly review of demand management plan and procurement plans

Record requisitions recieved in the requisition register

Arrange briefing sessions

Provide weekly and monthly reports

Minimum Requirements

A grade 12 certificate

Atleast one year experience in supply chain management environment would be an added advantage

Knowledge of government procurement processes

Knowledge of treasury regulations

Knowledge of supply chain policies

Skills

Good communication written and verbal skills

Good interpersonal skills

Computer (MS Package) skills

Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare demand management plan and procurement plan for the commission

Assist with quarterly review of demand management plan and procurement plans

Alignment of demand management plan to the budget

Ensure that the requirements are linked to the approved budget

Draft of specification and terms of reference

Conduct market analysis and commodity (needs) analysis

Provide update on the demand trends and service delivery

Draft memorandum for approval

Sourcing quotations through CSD and other means

Prepare request for quotations (RFQ)

Compile comparative schedules

Ensure value for money and transparency

Ensure compliance on Preferential Procurement Framework Act for quotations Preference points and price

Prepare documents for approval

Promote sound prourement management in line with PFMA

Record requisitions recieved in the requisition register

Arrange briefing sessions

Provide weekly and monthly reports
