The Eastern Division Human Resources Department, located in Lanham, Maryland, has an opening for a Learning and Leadership Development Training Generalist.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 minimum retail experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Practical experience with varied training methodology (i.e., classroom, web based, OJT).
- 1-2 years post â€"high school education; degree or additional experience preferred.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent planning and organization skills; ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong facilitation skills.
- Two years of classroom style training experience in the position of a training instructor.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access required.
- Excellent problem solving and decision making skills; ability to learn new processes quickly.
- High degree of initiative and proven team player.
- Acceptable File Review. (Internal candidates)
- In current position 6 months.
Key Responsibilities include, but ! are not limited to:
- Train/Develop new and cur! rent Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians.
- Assist in the support of the Retail Leadership Development Program (Store Management trainee program).
- Provide retail operations with training support for new store openings, remodels, and seasonal needs.
- Provide administrative support for various Human Resources projects and programs, and monitor budget for assigned programs.
- Train and monitor performance of in-store training mentors.
- Develop and deliver training programs and other informational presentations as needed; support, coach, and train retail management on retail training programs.
- Support new and remodel store training and other initiatives including Pharmacy.
- Manage and support multiple projects in an exceptionally fast-paced environment.
- Includes providing tracking information for all programs.
- Conduct and monitor in-store testing and classroom training; Web Based Training (WBT) Cashier/C! hecker Pretest, Produce, Signature Sandwich, Food Safety etc.)
- Conduct and monitor testing at store level (Cashier/Checker Pretest, Produce, Signature Sandwich, Food Safety,
- Travel approximately 20%.
- Other responsibilities/duties as required.
Salary: Commensurate with experience and qualifications
