Specialty related abilities/ duties:
Communicate with physicians and physician office representatives
Communicate with patients
Communicate with all Insurance companies
Triage patient and pharmacist relate! d questions and channel to the appropriate person
Answer g! eneral calls for information
Complete/ update a daily specialty referral status report and forward to all appropriate parties on a daily basis
Responsibilities include insuring the accurate and timely dispensing and shipping of all specialty related prescriptions
Ensure proper interoffice communication between all parties (Owner/Pharmacist/ Pharmacy Technicians/ billing and Business development)
Enroll all patients in appropriate patient assistance programs
Requirements Data entry related duties:
Process all faxes and E-script orders
Manage and process all refills
Input all demographic and insurance information
Verify eligibility and specific drug coverage
Work on prior authorizations and insurance over-rides
(Fill out forms and keep an active database and files)
Run appropriate labels
Refill reminders
Delivery coordination reminders
Requirements:
High school diploma: Certified Ph! armacy technician
Experience with insurance formularies and drug classifications
Experience with prior authorization process
Prior pharmacy experience
Basic specialty disease state knowledge
Proven record of excellent attendance
Strong positive references
Shifts available:
Full Time hours. Weekday 9-5 or 10-6 â€" one weeknight and one Saturday per month
