This is a full time position within Remedi SeniorCare reporting directly to the Operations Manager, Pharmacist In-Charge, General Manager. The Value Strea! m Leader will be responsible for leading and guidance of all processes for a specific value stream. The role will also cover providing daily guidance to the functional and business support roles to include Maintenance, Quality Improvement, Pharmacists, Inventory, or other applicable functional role. The Value Stream Leader will work with the members of the value stream and Franchise Pharmacy Team to implement RLMS tools to drive operational excellence while staying focused on delivering an extraordinary customer experience.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead a specific Value Stream in the processing products of services in accordance with work instructions and company policies/procedures to ensure products and services are delivered to the right patient at the right time in the right dose and quantity.
  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining safety standards as required by law and company policy.
  • Implements job related training for! all employees in his/her department.
  • Coaches and pro! vides technical expertise to resolve processing issues and creates and ensures corrective actions are implemented.
  • Responsible for creating a high morale in the workplace with the highest ethical standards.
  • Manages the scheduling of processes: set work schedules, provide training and coaching, conducts performance evaluations, and sets departmental goals and expectations.
  • Supervisory responsibility includes management of employee performance, hiring, discipline, development and recourse planning.
  • Acts as a member of the management team and performs other duties as directed.
  • Insure the appropriate level of accountability for Pharmacy goals and objectives at the value stream, process leader, and team leader levels.
  • Plans and monitors capacity maximization for a specific value stream.
  • Monitors and takes appropriate timely improvement actions to meet quality and quantity requirements.
  • Utilize problem solvin! g techniques, teamwork building strategies, process control, and continuous process improvement tools to meet or exceed the Pharmacy key operating metrics.
  • Develops, monitors and implements departments budgets and forecasts.
  • Facilitate workflow management, workforce scheduling, and team members’ placement to ensure the Pharmacy and company goals are successfully met or exceeded.
  • Develops, analyses, and presents monthly reports, including but not limited to, forecasts, productivity, quality, and safety.
  • Conduct, lead, or implement the appropriate process audits; the audits will identify the need for the appropriate containment, corrective, and preventive actions, leading to minimizing or eliminating process deviations and non-conforming product root causes.
  • Maintain adherence to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.
  • Foster an atmosphere of employee involvement and continuous improvement in! all areas of responsibility.
  • Review methods and develop proce! ss/system strategies to meet company objectives for quality, cost, responsiveness and growth.
  • Support new processing methods based on optimizing processes, new technology and continuous improvement activities.
  • Consistent and predictable attendance.
  • Immediately reports injuries to management.
  • Direct supervision and coordination of: Process Leaders, Line Leads, and Team Leads.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Education Needed To Do The Job :

  • BA in Business or Operations related field, or BA in Pharmacy,or equivalent operational experience
  • Knowledge of Operations Management and Pharmacy methods/systems
  • Lean, Six Sigma, TPS, or DMAIC experience is suggested
  • Demonstrated motivational and leadership skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Effective problem solving skills
  • Effective human relations and negotiation skills
  • Strong organization a! nd project management skills
  • Understanding of team dynamics
Experience Needed To Do The Job :
  • 2 to 4 years’ experience in Operations with demonstrated supervisory experience
  • Project management experience
  • Experience with computer based Software Systems
  • Experience with Inventory Management/Control systems
Communication:
Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and written with English as the primary language. Must have exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead, strong problem solving abilities, and a strong customer service focus.

Complexity:
Must be dependable with ability to be flexible, function independently and works under pressure with multiple tasks and deadlines. Must have strong organizational, time management skills, ability to problem solve.

Contact with Others:
High frequency of contact with emplo! yees and customers with limited contact with guests and vendors require! s effective interpersonal skills exhibiting a pleasant out-going and caring attitude, the ability to interact positively with a professional attitude and demeanor.

Confidentiality:
This position will be exposed to highly confidential information and data that disclosed would be against Federal and State HIPPA law and contrary to the company’s policies and to professional ethics.

Physical Demands:
This position requires the ability to exert up to 40 lbs. of force occasionally and/or lift, carry, push or move objects. Position requires the ability to stand for extended periods of time during the work day.

Mental/ Visual Demands:
Flow of work requires normal mental and visual demands.
