Pharmacist (RPH)
1 - 3 years of experience required
General Summary : Interprets and evaluates physician orders, in order to prepare and dispense approp! riate medications to patients at Holy Cross Hospital. Manages drug therapy of patients. Provides information to physicians, nurses and patients. Assists in supervision of pharmacy technicians. Supports Mission of CHE Trinity Health and Holy Cross Health.
Minimum Requirements : Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from accredited college of pharmacy. Current licensure from Maryland State Board of Pharmacy (if out of state, eligible for licensure in Maryland - licensure requirements must be completely satisfied within three (3) months after employment). Able to communicate effectively. Able to speak, write and comprehend English. Able to work cooperatively with hospital and pharmacy staff, in order to meet departmental objectives. Must be able to handle frequent interruptions, and adapt to changes in workload and work schedule. Knowledge of software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred. ASHP accredited residency, and membership in ASHP and WMSHP.
