Our medical center promotes improved access to primary and ambulatory care services and be a community partner in helping to improve the health status of the residents. We will serve as a vital asset to assist with successfully recruiting physicians of many specialties to the region to provide high quality, clinically advanced medical care.
We are in search of a Pharmacist (Clinical) to serve as a consultant to the medical team in determining the appropriate drug therapy. Monitors drug therapy and suggests alternatives as appropriate. Assists pharmacists in determining drug strengths, dosages, and effects of drug interactions. Conducts drug utilization reviews and prepares drug review criteria for medical staff approval. Provides prescribed medications, drugs, and other pharmaceuticals.
This is a 13 week contract position.
Shifts will vary between the hours of 6:00am to midnight in eight hour increments.
Qualifications: Must possess a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy and be licensed in the state of Maryland;
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $67.00 /hour
