Description: MedStar Health is presently looking of Clinical Pharmacist Nght Shift right now, this position will be delegated in Maryland. Detailed specification about this position opportunity kindly read the description below. General Summary of Position:
Evaluates and interprets physician orders and dispenses medication and other pharmaceutical supplies in accordance with established operational procedures, professional standards or practice. Provide s pharmaceutical care to assigned patients under the general supervision of the clinical pharmacy coordinator. Participates autonomously in clinical rounds and routine monitoring of the drug therapy of assigned patients. May provide in-service/educational presentations to pharmacists, prescribers, and nursing.
Qualifications:
Pharm D. from an accredited college or university required
Maryland Pharmacist license required
Ability to communicate effectively with all internal and external customers
Moderate computer skills to perform prescription entries
Experience with computerized clinical information systems
Completion of a pharmacy practice residency OR at least three years of relevant experience required
