The role of the Pharmacist is to provide pharmaceutical care to Mercy Medical Center patients, in compliance with federal, state, and professional mandates, as well as hospital and department policies and procedures. The population served by the pharmacist consist s of inpatients and outpatients, including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Must possess:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelors; must possess a BS or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited school of Pharmacy.
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience, a minimum of one year is preferred, but not required.
- Registered Pharmacist License. Must be licensed to practice in Maryland or must be able to obtain a Maryland license based on timeframe of licensing board.
