As part of CIGNA Pharmacy Management, the Clinical Account Manager serves as the primary pharmacy benefits subject matter ! expert and support role working in tandem with the CIGNA Medical account management organization.
The Pharmacist in the Clinical Account Manager position will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and external Clients to advance the CIGNA Pharmacy Management Client retention strategy. .
The primary role of the Clinical Account Manager is to retain their assigned book of business.
Responsibilities include:
Satisfactorily support and retain his/her assigned book of business.
Actively engage and support finalist meetings on renewals.
Develop a clear understanding in to Client’s needs, goals and objectives.
Provide strategic pharmacy management options to control cost.
Analyze pharmacy utilization in order to provide Clients with consultative solutions.
Interpret and translate pharmacy coverage rules based on CIGNA policies and evidence based medicine! guidelines.

Requirements
Qualifica! tions:
3 years or more of PBM experience in a clinical role supporting Client expectations.
R.Ph. required; Pharm.D. preferred
Experience with consultative Client management methodologies
DNA of ownership, accountability and responsibility
Operational understanding and competence with PBM clinical programs
Excellent verbal and writing communication skills
Excellent presentation skills in group settings
Technical skills using and Microsoft Programs
Willingness to travel in excess of 30% of the time with little or no advance notice
