Position Summary: Under the general direction of WMHS's Dire! ctor of Pharmacy, this position is responsible for overseeing the daily clinical activities of the staff pharmacists. Serves as a role model of/champion for decentralized clinical activities. Performs a variety of tasks that require advanced professional knowledge, judgment, leadership, education, and technical skills.
Education: Graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy. A Doctoral level academic degree and/or Doctor of Pharmacy degree is required. Completion of an accredited pharmacy residency/or clinical certification is also required.
Licensure/ Certification: Licensed to practice Pharmacy in the State of Maryland or eligible to reciprocate a license from another state in a reasonable period of time.
Experience: Minimum of three years hospital experience or residency is required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are also required.
